Abstract

Vinthan has a special place among the twentieth century literary creators. The writer Vinthan created characters about the marginalized status of the people in his novels. The characters in his novels have psychological elements. In his novel 'Paalum Pavaiyum', this is shown through the behavior of Nagalingam. Vinthan creates mythological elements through the protagonist of the novel 'Paalum Pavayum', Ahalikai, who loves Kanakalingam, even the mythological Ahalikai - Indra. The hero of the novel 'Anbu Alarukirathu', Sambu, feels compassion for the heroine of the story, Lalita, after hearing her sad story...
