Abstract

          V. Iramalingam Pillai was the poet of Vidivelli Namakkal of the liberation movement in the twentieth century. He admired nationalism and Gandhianism as his two eyes. He was a versatile personality as national poet, Gandhian poet and court poet. Inspired by the revolutionary ideas of social reformers such as Bharatiyar, Rajaram Mohan Roy, Ramakrishna Paramahamsar, and Vivekananda, he created many poems to reform the society by adhering to the motherland and mother tongue...
