Abstract

One amongst these classic Tamil literature of Yettuthogai is Paripaadal which is literature sung with “Pann” or “Ragam” of this day. This literature discloses not only the sense of devotion but also about the nature, Pannisai and musical instruments. Earlier in 6th century, Pannisai Vithu is well depicted in Paripaadal.
