Life is simple and happy for those who live in harmony with nature. On the contrary, those who deviate from nature are exposed to many life crises. This can be seen from Sangam literature to modern literature. Man has gradually shifted from a state of relationship with nature to one of hostility towards it. Against this backdrop, the aim of this study is to examine the natural environment occurring in the Karisal region through the novel "Bat Nation" written by writer So. Tharman.
