The basis for the success of a literary work is the literary elements that are built into it. Creative literature can be said to be based on various types of life experiences. The author who creates literature instills an artistic feeling in the reader with his life experiences. He creates it with various types of artistic skills so that the reader can understand the feelings that have arisen in his mind. The artistic skills that are established in this way are called technique. When examining a piece of literature, two types of perspectives are essential in that literature: what the creator says and how he says it. How he says it can be said to be the creator's artistic skill and artistic technique. Its meaning stands out in knowing what the writer is saying. It is even better to say it in a way that the reader can remember. A person who is good at thinking and acting expresses his thoughts in many ways. Poems, stories, plays, articles, and novels are the imagination of a writer. The technique and language of the story are essential to the content of a story. A story reaches a special level through strategy. In this way, this article examines the strategies used in Cho. Dharman's novel Kookai.
Key words: Kookai, strategies, code, proverb, language style, novel.
