Tamil devotional literature stands out in the history of Tamil literature. Nayanmars and Azhwars considered important figures in devotional literature. The Azhwars sang paashurams in praise of thirumal. This collection of four thousands divine versus discusses many important devotional themes. Many text have appeared for this four thousand divine phenomenon . Among them, the commentary of periyavachan pillai is worthy of admiration. Periyavachan pillai was born in chengannur near kumbakonam . He was a student of Kalatchepam from vaishnava acharyas and wrote many vaishnavi books. He who knows the Manipravala language. He is a man of great knowledge of the world matters are brilliantly presented in his commentaries. He is praised as the Chakkravarthy of VAISHNAVA Commentaries. The purpose of this article is to highlight the merits of Periya Vachan Pillai's speech.
