Abstract

This article has subjected Thiruvalluvar's agricultural thought to an evaluation methodology. The paper also describes the need to protect the resources of soil, water and air. The article highlights and also describes the need to restore the way of life of our ancestors who lived in harmony with nature. Farming can be made a valuable profession for them. From this, a correct understanding of farming should be created among the youth. The situation in which farmers are gradually losing their uniqueness due to natural disasters and the neglect of the planned bureaucracy has been described. We should understand the pain and suffering of farmers and encourage them without bias. If we combine the ancient traditions of farming with modern techniques and practice, farming will become a profession that the world admires and without laziness. The paper pointed out that, it is necessary for all of us to change our minds. This research article seeks to point out, following Valluvar's example, that farmers will be a blessing to the world.
