Abstract

This vast earth is surrounded by natural resources. Nature is the greatest treasure given to us by God. The five elements, land, water, wind, sky, and fire, are also natural resources. Man was created to surround this space. It is the duty of every individual to protect them. Nature has many benefits for us. The benefits of resources such as air, water, sunlight, wood, charcoal, and sand that are useful to people are innumerable. The beautiful landscape on this earth has oceans in all four directions, forests that are like a green blanket, blooming flowers, and water bodies. Knowing that the Ilangovadis were environmentally conscious, it is no exaggeration to say that the ancient Tamils were the ones who planted trees, plants, and vines to increase natural resources. The nature worship program for the forests to flourish and for abundant rain, the principle of Sukhad Nanneri, can be learned through the Silappadhikaram.
