In the Pattupattu, the Aattrupadai characters are Koothar, Porunar, Panar, Virali, Padini, etc. The attrupadai people of the Sangam era lived as a virtuous community that supported communities like Koothar, Porunar, Panar, Virali, etc. who were similar to themselves. The act of providing is praised as the best virtue of the people of Aattrupadai . They are mentioned in the Aattrupadai texts as people of unblemished mind. They provide grace to those who have not received grace in the Thirumurukatrupadi, and provide wealth tothose who have no wealth in the other Aattrupadai texts such as Porunarattarupadi, Perumpanatrupadi, Sirupanatrupadi, Kootharattarupadi. A Koothar, Porunan, or Panan is seen as one who upholds the gender morality of treating his wife (Virali) equally. Their activities are seen as unified onsciousness in everything, including mind, speech, and action. Among the people who enslaved women by keeping them inside their homes, saying, “women cannot pursue profession or trade across the world for the sake of earning,” these were the people who considered women as equals and travelled like nomads all over the country,” Through this article, we come to know that these people not only lived in unity according to the well known saying “ unity is strength”, but also revived, restored and established the human race to live and live well.
