Abstract

Sangam literature has always been a historical treasure trove for understanding the Tamil tradition of ancient people. In the modern world, where countless stories and poems are being created based on the basic concepts and words of Sangam literature, the novel genre, which has taken root in a unique place in the contemporary literary genre, is still spreading its fragrance. The author, who has extracted the essence of Sangam literature and used an alchemy, begins to write a novel called “Veera Yuga Nayagan Velpaari” based on countless news ideas from literature. The purpose of this article is to study and conclude how many news from the Agana Nooru book alone has been used in the novel.
