Abstract

Existentialism is compatible with Indian philosophy. The ‘God’ mentioned by existentialism is called Brahman, magnetism, and the infinite universe in Indian philosophy. The ‘denial of God’ mentioned by existentialism is matching with Buddhism. Indian philosophy has spoken a lot about the suffering, impermanent, birth, death, the world, God, the universe, the individual, the relationship between the universe and the individual, individual freedom, social hatred, the search for the meaning of life, and the suffering of life that all aspects of existentialism philosophy. Existentialism is present in the works of many languages ​​in Indian literature, including Bengali, Marathi, Assamese, Kannada, Malayalam, and Telugu. In Tamil, existentialism is present in epics, poems, short stories, novels, and plays.
