A COMPARATIVE STUDY OF FORMAL AND NON-FORMAL EDUCATION SYSTEMS

Abstract

This study explains the educational methods employed in the context of learning and teaching activities. Education is divided into three levels, formal education, non-formal education, and in-formal education based on the objectives and their structure. This study is intended to indicate the nature, uniqueness and inter-relationships of these three education systems. Comparative method based on secondary data and descriptive analysis method have been used in this study.
