Abstract: Translation literature, which is respected as creative literature, brings together the artistic expression of diverse people, culture, life style, governance etc through the copies of various languages in the world. In this way, translation literature also has a unique place in the context of Tamil literature. The ‘Eanthiram’ is the Tamil translation of the famous Malayalam novel. This article presents the government machinery through this novel which depicts an episode of the life of the people of Kerala
